What's in a Wedding Planner's Kit?

As a wedding planner, I make it my mission to be prepared for anything that might come up on the big day. From small emergencies to last-minute details, having the right tools on hand helps everything run smoothly and keeps the couple and their guests comfortable and happy. My wedding kit is carefully stocked with all the essentials I might need to make sure the day goes off without a hitch.


My kit includes:

  • Safety pins (various sizes)

  • Bobby pins and hair ties

  • Hairspray

  • Portable steamer

  • Stain remover pen or wipes

  • Lint roller

  • Fashion tape/double-sided tape

  • Sewing kit (needles, thread matching wedding attire)

  • Super glue

  • Band-aids and blister pads

  • Pain relievers (Advil, Tylenol)

  • Antacids and personal medications

  • Tissues

  • Oil blotting sheets

  • Makeup for touch-ups

  • Deodorant

  • Breath mints or gum

  • Tampons/pads

  • Small scissors

  • Snacks and water bottles

  • Cash for unexpected expenses

  • Notepad and pens

  • Thank you cards for day-of gifts

  • Contact list of all vendors and wedding party

  • Umbrellas (just in case)

  • Small mirror

  • Comfortable flip-flops or slippers
